Nursing leader Elizabeth Robb has joined the leadership team of independent healthcare provider Nuffield Health.
A nurse and midwife by background, Ms Robb has been appointed to Nuffield Health’s board of governors as well as its quality and safety committee.
The charity organisation employs more than 2,000 nursing staff across its national network of hospitals and fitness, wellbeing and medical centres.
Dr Natalie-Jane Macdonald, chair of Nuffield Health, said: “I am delighted to welcome Elizabeth to the board, whose extensive background in both nursing and clinical leadership positions will be invaluable to the charity, as we continue to maintain high-standards and drive improvement across our clinical services.”
Ms Robb has previously served as an NHS trust director of nursing and deputy chief executive.
For seven years, she was the chief executive of nursing charity the Florence Nightingale Foundation, and in 2015 she was awarded an OBE for services to nursing and midwifery.
Her other current roles include non-executive director of social care provider Somerset Care Limited.
