Job Description

The nurse who works in a correctional facility provides health care for all inmates. This includes case management, responding to episodes of acute illness, emergency call management, psychiatric evaluations, and assessment of new inmates.

Job Requirements

  • Current CCHP certification.
  • Current, active RN license.
  • The equivalent of two years full-time practice as a registered nurse.
  • 2,000 hours of practice in a correctional setting within the last three years.

Other, Registered Nurse, Shift RN

Additional Info

Would need a really strong and hard working mindset.
