Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operating Room RN to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including preparing patients for surgery, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patients’ vital signs during surgery.
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 2 years of experience working in an operating room setting
- Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Info
- Assess patients prior to surgery and ensure that they are physically and emotionally prepared for the procedure
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and assess their condition during surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that the operating room is properly equipped and that all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment plans
