Position Summary 0.6 FTE :
The Float Pool Registered Nurse – is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating the delivery of skilled patient care at any MultiCare Hospital location within one or more specialty areas. The RN is directly accountable and responsible for the quality of care provided to patients and has the authority to direct care, provide education, seek resources at the unit/department level, and delegate appropriate tasks. The RN, using specialized knowledge, can perform the activities of administration, supervision, delegation and evaluation of nursing practice. The responsibility cannot be avoided by accepting the orders or direction of others. This position requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgement, and skill based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral and sociological sciences, and requires critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, which includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data. The RN has continuous contact with physicians, patients, patient families/significant others, community agencies, patient care staff, and management.

Minimum Requirements:
Two years recent experience in Acute Care setting required preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
BSN or an RN License with a signed agreement to complete the BSN within 3 years
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Washington
Current AHA BLS certification
ACLS within first 6 mths of employmentTNCC, TCAR, CCRN certification preferred

Additional Information:
$20,000 Sign On Bonus and Up to $10,000 Relocation Bonuses; with a 2 year commitment.

Compensation Range:
G – Min: $15.74-Max: $75.56
